OUR SERVICES

We specialise in the design and development of geared systems. particularly those relating to electro-mechanical actuation and motion control mechanisms.

From concept generation through to manufacturing documentation, we offer a full design, development, analysis and validation service.  This extends not only to the gear components themselves, but also to the correct selection and definition of all the related parts to ensure a working system, including housings, shafts, bearings, motors and materials.

We are happy to work independently, but usually operate best as an extension to an existing in-house design capability that needs support with gear design.

CAPABILITIES

Whether you need a concept to deliver a specific ratio or torque in a defined space, or if you already have a working (or non-working!) prototype and need help to analyse the performance, we are able to help.

We can also review the detailed aspects of a design and recommend modifications to maximise strength and life for a given application, or other detailed tooth geometry calculations.

We can analyse failure modes you might experience and supply analysis results to validate that the design will meet specification.  We also offer a design for manufacture service so that the resulting design definition can be manufactured at a quality and cost appropriate to the application.
